The Job
Were seeking a skilled, handson plumber with maintenance experience who enjoys varied work, both independently and with a team. You will perform plumbing tasks and support preventive maintenance and repairs across the Prairie Malt plant, with strong focus on safety, food safety, sustainability, and reducing our carbon footprint.

Our Collective Agreement includes competitive benefits, pension plan, annual incentive bonus, paid lunch breaks, and a standard weekday 58hour dayshift schedule, with some required overtime and callins.

Key Tasks

Read working drawings
Detect and repair leaks
Fix drains
Measure, cut, bend and connect pipes
Monitor installation quality

What You Bring

Journeyman certification (verified early in recruitment)
Industrial or manufacturing experience
Ability to complete food safety training
Willingness to work 8hour shifts and occasional callins
Ability to work indoors/outdoors in dusty or humid areas
Comfortable with stairs, ladders, and elevated locations
Fluent English
Computer skills for data entry and retrieval
Strong safety and attendance record
Ability to wear hearing and respiratory PPE
