We are seeking a multi-talented and enthusiastic Disc Jockey to join our entertainment team. As a Disc Jockey, you will be responsible for creating a lively and engaging atmosphere through musical selection for various events.

We are looking for the following skills:

Skills

Minimum 1-2 years' experience providing entertainment at various events.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of various music genres and trends.
Have experience talking in front of large audiences
Experience working with a Macbook Pro Laptop.
Proficient in using DJ equipment specifically Serato DJ Pro.
Able to multi-task fluently.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Have own reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license.
Available weekends - More specifically Saturday afternoons into early Sunday morning.
Read and Speak English fluently
Be located in Regina or immediate vicinity.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in event planning or coordination
- Knowledge of lighting and special effects equipment
- Ability to perform live beat matching or mixing

Duties

Select and play music appropriate for the event and audience.
Mix music tracks seamlessly to maintain a vibrant atmosphere.
Operation of a fun, high energy game show in pubs and at private events.
Being able to interact with audience.
Be a quick thinker.
Transportation, set up/tear down and operation of sound & lighting equipment.
Ensure smooth transitions between songs and announcements.
Creation and operation of various lighting shows.
Operation of Serato DJ Pro via Macbook Pro laptop.
Some of the events you would be providing entertainment at are:

Weddings, Corporate Events, Sporting Events, Opening for Bands, School events, Bar/Lounge, Cabarets and more!
