Location: City of Regina Department of Finance
Are you a CPA with a passion for financial systems, strategic leadership, and public service? The City of Regina is seeking a Manager of Financial Systems & Operations to lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of our corporate financial systems.
In this key leadership role, youll oversee city-wide financial systems, costing frameworks, vendor and cash management, and ensure compliance with public sector accounting standards. You'll support strategic decision-making, enhance financial governance, and lead a team of professionals dedicated to accuracy, accountability, and innovation.
What Youll Do:
Lead financial systems, costing, and vendor management operations
Ensure compliance with PSAS, GAAP, and internal controls
Advise senior leadership and support corporate financial audits
Manage risk, improve processes, and ensure accurate reporting
Mentor and lead a high-performing team of finance professionals
What You Bring:
CPA designation (required)
Proven experience in financial systems, municipal finance, and compliance
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills
Expertise in risk management, audit practices, and financial reporting
