As a full-time Financial Advisor in Midale, you will be responsible for understanding our members financial goals and supporting their achievement through the provision of sound financial advice. This includes the offering and fulfillment of financial services and products to new and existing non-portfolio aligned members.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
Member Experience and Sales:
- Proactively identify members financial goals and provide advice and solutions to support their achievement
- Provide account, investment and lending products, within scope of position, to meet member need. This includes: memberships and accounts including lines of credit, consumer investment products (excluding mutual funds), non-complex consumer lending products, registered products, mobile banking solutions and day to day banking needs.
- Conduct proactive outreach activities to educate members and prospective members on the value and function of our products and services
- Increase retention and expansion of member relationships by referring members to appropriate subject matter experts, based on needs, and follow-up to ensure member satisfaction
Compliance and organizational support:
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely documentation
- Adhere to security and operational policies, procedures and operational controls
- Ensure healthy balance between opportunity & risk and between growth & profitability
- Positively represent Conexus externally to support the growth of our membership and to enhance credit union system support and collaboration
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:
- 1 to 2 years of Financial Industry Experience in an Advisory Capacity
- Experience in a Sales position is considered an asset
- Experience in portfolio management
- Completion of or working towards the Financial Planner and Personal Financial Services Advice designations
- Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC) is considered an asset
