Description

We are seeking to add to our success as an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Coordinator. This role will integrate sustainability considerations into SARCs operations and decision-making processes.

You will be responsible for:
Data Management & Reporting: collect, organize & analyze ESG-related data; prepare statistics & supporting info for reports; develop a framework for tracking environmental performance of facilities
Process Improvement & Strategic Growth: work to set corporate ESG goals & track performance against these goals; develop initiatives to improve ESG-related processes
Social Impact Calculator: work with this digital tool to quantify economic, social & environmental benefits of SARCAN
Procurement & Asset Management: create inventory of purchased materials & analyze through a social procurement assessment; develop and put into practice social procurement standards
Research and Development: design & conduct research studies as required
Training, Awareness & Education: raise awareness of ESG initiatives; be a subject matter expert in sustainability training

You will need:
Degree or diploma in environmental science, sustainability studies, business admin, finance/economics. Combination of education & experience will be considered
Skills in statistical analysis, report preparation & market research
Project management skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills; attention to detail; organizational skills; time management
Knowledge of ESG frameworks
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Experience researching and understanding government policy
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365
A strong degree of professionalism; highly-personable and approachable
Criminal record check as a condition of employment
