The SPSA is seeking an organized, results-oriented, team player for two (2) permanent positions of Storekeepers, in the Air Operations branch in La Ronge. The position plays a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory. Reporting to the Stores Supervisor, this position will be responsible for:
General Shipping Processes;
Shipping of Dangerous Goods;
Tool Control;
Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom;
Receive, unload, and shelve supplies;
Perform other stock-related duties;
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record-keeping;
Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses;
Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control;
Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment;
Operation & Certificate of Equipment (Forklift, etc);
Purchasing using a Credit Card; and,
Experienced using computers.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following knowledge and skills:
To perform inventory audits;
Customer Service, along with customer and vendor relations;
Support purchasing coordination and accounts payable;
Shipping and receiving.
Typically, the knowledge and ability for this position would be acquired through completion of or experience with accounting. Formal Education in Chain Management is an asset. Candidates may be considered based on a combination of education and years of experience in a similar role. Must have a valid Saskatchewan driver's license. The successful candidate must pass a Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment.
