The Ministry of Highways is hiring a motivated Equipment Operator for the La Ronge Section. The role supports the safe operation and maintenance of Saskatchewans provincial transportation network, including roads, highways, and airports. A valid Class 1A license is required, and candidates must provide a current drivers abstract if interviewed.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as tandem trucks, graders, and loaders for yearround road maintenance. You will use advanced hydraulic systems for plowing and sanding, complete daily logs, perform inspections, and work in demanding physical and weather conditions. The position requires strong situational awareness, sound decisionmaking in all weather, teamwork, adaptability, and basic computer skills for email and time entry. Flexible hours are expected.
