Description

The Board for the Cumberland House Housing Authority (CHHA) is seeking a new Manager to lead a portfolio of approximately 122 housing units. With a team of three direct reports, an annual operating and Modernization & Improvement budget of $520,000, CHHA offers social, family, and senior housing in the community.  This position can be located in either Cumberland House or Nipawin and may involve weekly travel between locations.  

Cumberland House, with a population of approximately 2,000 people is the oldest community in Saskatchewan and was the first inland post established by the Hudsons Bay Company. The ideal candidate has a background in business, social work, psychology, human services, or a similar field and has some related experience.  An equivalent combination of education and experience will certainly be considered!  

Supervisory and board experience, familiarity working with JD Edwards or a similar system and the MS Office Suite are an asset. You enjoy working with people, embrace diversity, and communicate effectively.

A valid SK driver's license, reliable vehicle, and an acceptable Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment.  An excellent benefits package including pension and Northern Allowance is offered.
