WRT Equipment Ltd. is a Saskatoon-based manufacturer of high-quality equipment and components for the aggregate, asphalt, and mining industries. We build both standard and custom products under the WRT brand, along with providing manufacturing services for other trusted companies in the industry. WRT is recognized for producing reliable equipment built to last, and we hold the same standard for our people and our work.

About the Role
As a Designer at WRT, you will be integral to turning engineering concepts into real equipment used in demanding construction and mining environments. Youll work regularly with engineering and manufacturing staff to produce accurate production drawings and documentation that reflects our high standards of work.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in the Product Realization process from start to end providing recommendations for product solutions to meet customer requirements
Create and organize the technical information required for successful WRT manufacturing and after-sales support.  
Participate in Quality Management System activities developing solutions for continuous improvement of products and processes.  

Other duties and duties or roles may be assigned such as:
CNC nesting or programming
Production Planning and cost estimating

Qualifications
Relevant Degree in Engineering or relevant diploma in Engineering Technology  or a demonstrated combination of education and experience; an up-to-date professional or technical association designation is preferred (P.Eng., C.E.T., AScT, etc.)
Experience in a relevant manufacturing setting is an asset
Proficiency in 3D CAD modelling software and familiarity with drafting standards
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work, in a fast-paced environment
Must hold and maintain a valid Class 5 drivers license
