Description

The Ministry of Community Safety is seeking a highly organized administrative professional to support the Deputy Ministers Office as Senior Executive Coordinator. They are looking for an experienced executivelevel administrator who can work independently with confidence, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and handle sensitive information with tact and discretion. The ideal candidate is collaborative, supportive, and able to build strong relationships across government. Strong verbal and written communication, sound judgment, accuracy, and the ability to adapt to new challenges are essential. Candidates should also be innovative in identifying process improvements and effective in supervising, coaching, and mentoring administrative staff.

Key knowledge and skills include advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, experience managing executive calendars, preparing highquality correspondence, coordinating travel and logistics, maintaining records systems, and overseeing administrative standards. A combination of business or office administration education and significant executivelevel administrative experience is typically required.

Responsibilities include managing inquiries, preparing briefing materials, coordinating meetings, tracking action items, processing expenses, and supporting documentation flow between the Deputy Minister and Ministers Office.
