Street Culture Project (SCP) is hiring a Case Plan Coordinator for the Treehouse Program, a low-barrier youth drop-in space for ages 15 to 24. This role focuses on building relationships, helping youth identify goals, and supporting navigation of community resources.
Hours: 2:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Mon to Fri
You will:
-Lead youth engagement, building supportive relationships and maintaining a welcoming environment.
-Support the Program Manager in daily operations and modeling strong engagement practices.
-Facilitate informal intake and orientation for walk-ins and referrals.
-Work collaboratively with youth to identify needs, set goals, and develop action plans.
-Help youth navigate systems (housing, health, mental health, income, education, employment, legal).
-Respond to crises using calm, trauma-informed, and relationship-based approaches.
-Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with agency and legal standards.
-Identify patterns in youth needs to strengthen program responsiveness.
What You Bring
-1+ year experience in youth care or a related field (required).
-Experience with youth facing housing instability, trauma, or social barriers.
-Skills in goal setting, service navigation, and community resource connection.
-Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
-Understanding of trauma-informed care and harm reduction.
-Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
-Secondary school completion (post-secondary preferred).
-Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector clearance.
-Valid SK Driver's License.
-CPR/First Aid, ASIST, or Mental Health First Aid is an asset.
