Responsibilities
- Ensure quality programs and services are available at the pool.
- Enforce policies and procedures, which ensure efficient and effective operation of the facility including personnel supervision, management, payroll and training.
- Coordinate programs, staffing, pool maintenance and cleaning.
- Perform chemical testing and analysis to ensure the pool water is balanced to the requirements of Public Health.
- Ensure the facility is shut down and secured at the end of each day.
- Other duties as assigned by the Recreation Director.
Requirements
- 3 Years Aquatic Experience
- National Lifeguard Certificate (NLC)
- Lifesaving Society Instructor Certificate (LSI)
- Water Safety Instructor Certificate (WSI)
- Aquatic Emergency Care
- Standard First Aid and CPR C, Swimming Pool Operators Course
- WHMIS
