Description

The Ministry of Highways is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal and leadership skills to join the Construction Delivery team as a Project Manager based in Regina. The ministry is committed to an integrated transportation system that supports economic growth, with core values grounded in respect, integrity, service, excellence, innovation, and teamwork.

They are looking for a candidate who can effectively manage highway construction projects, work collaboratively with internal teams and contracted consultants, and provide leadership throughout all stages of construction delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and able to build strong working relationships while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to standard. Local highway construction knowledge is considered an asset.

Key qualifications include either a Bachelor of Science in engineering and eligibility for registration as a professional engineer or engineerintraining with APEGS, or a twoyear engineering diploma with eligibility for SASTT registration plus eight years of related experience. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to oversee construction administration, liaise with consultants, and support project delivery through sound technical understanding and leadership.

Responsibilities include managing internal and contracted project resources, coordinating construction activities, and ensuring project requirements are met.
