Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable, customer focused Paint Technician to join our team for a new Benjamin Moore retail store. The ideal candidate has experience with paint products, tinting & color matching, and providing exceptional service to both retail and contractor customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert advice on paint products, coatings, tools, and application methods
- Tint and color-match paint accurately using computerized tinting systems
- Assist customers in selecting colors and finishes
- Mix, shake, and prepare paint orders
- Maintain inventory and restock shelves
- Keep tinting area clean, organized, and safe
- Load and unload deliveries as needed
- Support store operations including cashier duties, stocking, and customer service


Qualifications

- Experience in paint, coatings, or hardware retail (preferred but not required)
- Strong color recognition and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills for tinting and POS systems
- Willingness to learn product knowledge and store procedures
