Early Childhood Educator (Full-Time Temporary)

Away We Grow Childcare is seeking nurturing, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals to join our team.

Away We Grow is a licensed childcare centre caring for children ages 6 months to 6 years. We are committed to creating an engaging early learning environment guided by the principles of play, exploration, and discovery, supporting the growth and development of every child.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement childcare programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and social development of children.
Plan and maintain a safe and engaging environment that protects the health, safety, and well-being of all children.
Observe and assess children's abilities, interests, and needs.
Communicate with parents and team members regarding childrens development and progress.
Work collaboratively with staff to create a positive and supportive childcare environment.

Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered assets; training may be provided for the right candidate. Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 12 or Adult Basic Education 12.
Early Childhood Educator Certificate or Diploma
Experience working with children
First Aid/CPR Certification
Criminal Record check including vulnerable sector

Strong oral and written communication skills
Problem-solving abilities
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
