Description

Job responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of Camp I.G.N.I.T.E. and Game On including logistics, activities, and timelines.
- Coordinate venues, transportation, meals, and necessary supplies to ensure smooth program execution.
- Develop a comprehensive program schedule that includes workshops, recreational activities, team-building exercises, and guest speaker sessions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for speakers, facilitators, and vendors.
- Develop and manage the program budget
- Seek cost-effective solutions for supplies, activities, and vendors without compromising program quality.
- Identify potential funding gaps and collaborate with leadership to explore additional funding opportunities or in-kind donations.
- Research, recruit, and schedule engaging guest speakers, activity leaders, and facilitators aligned with program themes and goals.
- Ensure all activities are age-appropriate, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of program participants.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for program participants, fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive environment.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with youth to encourage participation, leadership, and personal growth.
- Facilitate group discussions, reflective activities, and leadership opportunities throughout the program.
- Track attendance, participation, and progress of program activities.
- Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Research and attend community events, walks, activities and celebrations
- Act as a champion for BBBS Weyburn and help recruit new volunteer mentors and accept donations;
