Mainline Automotive Group is looking to expand their accounting team! Join our company as an Assistant Controller where your skills will contribute to our dealership as a key member of our team performing full-cycle accounting duties. Relocation packages may be available for exceptional candidates.
Overview/Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day operations of accounting department
Perform full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties
Manage daily cash reconciliation, bank deposits and cash flow reporting
Ensure accurate posting of dealership transactions
Including but not limited to invoices, cash receipts, deals, journal entries, etc.
Complete account reconciliation processes
Ensure month-end and year-end procedures are completed on time and accurately
Complete all required payments and remittances within deadlines
Complete weekly and monthly reporting for senior management
Collaborate with department managers to support overall dealership financial health
Point of contact for customer inquiries and supplier concerns
Assist with company budget and forecasting
Requirements:
Prior accounting experience preferred
Willing to train the right candidate
Proficiency with MS Office Word & Excel
Analytical, organizational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
