Description

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact working with Children? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Early Childhood Educator to provide care for the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of toddlers and young children in a safe and healthy environment, including childminding for children of the families participating in the program. The Early Childhood Educator collaborates with the supervisor and all other members of the program team to provide nurturing care, project-based learning, and developmentally appropriate activities in a group setting. The Early Childhood Educator works in accordance with the goals and curriculum plans of the family treatment Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities

Services
* Develop and implement daily programming based on Family Programs expectations, balancing caregiver-led and child-directed activities.
* Collaborate with team members to adapt programming to the needs of each child.
* Support childrens overall development.
* Assist in preparing nutritious meals and snacks.
* Adjust the environment to meet evolving program needs.
* Follow all Family Program policies and procedures.
* Administer medication as required according to policy.
* Complete all reports and documentation accurately and on time.
* Participate in meetings, workshops, and training as requested.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Leadership
* Provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to new employees, practicum students, and volunteers.
* Demonstrate positive role modeling and uphold agency values.
* Communicate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team as needed.

Management of Resources
* Identify and request necessary resources for daily activities.
* Reconcile expenses and manage approved expenditures.
* Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all facilities and equipment.
