Description

Mayfair Drugs is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:
-Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in delivering patient-focused care
-Greet customers and manage phone inquiries professionally
-Assist with prescription entry, labelling, counting, measuring, and packaging
-Receive, stock, and rotate inventory; assist with audits and waste disposal
-Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment
-Perform clerical tasks (filing, faxing, scanning) and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
-Contribute to daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
-Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail setting preferred
-Pharmacy Assistant program completion is an asset
strong communication, teamwork, organization, and attention to detail
-Kroll experience and accurate data entry skills are considered an asset
-Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes as needed
-Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Schedule:
-Full-time, 40 hours/week
-The typical shifts will fall within the stores operating hours: Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
-Some weekend availability is expected. 8-hour shift.
