Job Description: Position will have specific responsibilities related to specialized client needs and clinical knowledge within Primary Health Care - Regina Area. Under the direction of the Manager, the Program Development Educator (PDE) integrates knowledge and skill reflective of the Health Services model of care and principles of adult learning, in the provision of education, research, and quality client centered care for a defined group of clients and programs. The incumbent will provide visible, proactive leadership and promote the delivery of client centered care through identified education programming. In collaboration with their Manager, the PDE is responsible for assessing learning needs of staff, planning, implementing, and evaluating education activities/programs. The Program Development Educator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to health care professionals as appropriate.

Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Applicants actively in progress towards a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or comparable degree in education/adult learning may be considered
Experience
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years experience related to the clinical area within the past five (5) years
