The Good Spirit School Division Invites applications for Temporary Administrative Assistant - Melville Comprehensive School

Administrative Assistants provide clerical support to staff and assist parents and other visitors in a friendly and approachable manner. They are valuable members of the team.

Location:
Melville, Saskatchewan

Assignment/Contract:
Temporary Full-Time - 7.5 hours/day

Salary:
In accordance with the CUPE 4784 Collective Agreement

Assignment and Term:
This position is a temporary full-time job. The position consists of 7.5 hours and will be in accordance with the Administrative Assistant school calendar.

The position commences March 24, 2026 and expires April 30, 2026 and the work schedule will be determined by the Principal or designate. Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement.

Salary and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $21.01 - $25.79 plus applicable vacation pay.

Benefits include participation in the Saskatchewan School Board Association (SSBA) Employee Benefits Plan if eligible, the Municipal Employees' Pension Plan (MEPP) and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.

Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
