AgCall Inc. has exciting field opportunities for agriculture professionals for the 2026 growing season. Our Agriculture Field Specialists respond to inquiries, conduct field investigations, gather facts, make observations, and manage relationships with growers. Responsibilities
Technical
- Schedule and coordinate farm visits based on field priorities
- Inspect fields to collect data, verify crop types and collect samples according to established protocols
- Assess data and determine compliance within the crop input use guidelines
- Educate growers on seed treatments, plant symptomology, program terms and conditions, and best practices
- Prepare clear and detailed reports

Relationship Management
- Develop a strong and cooperative working relationship with the project manager
- Manage and maintain respectful, professional customer conversations to ensure the most positive customer service experience possible
- Uphold confidentiality and data integrity throughout the program

Requirements
- Superior field scouting experience, including insect identification, understanding plant symptomology and environmental stresses and performing crop injury assessments
- Solid agronomic skills and understanding of crop and plant responses to different product applications
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
- Competency with technology including computers, smartphones and tablets
- Experience in agronomy, crop production, or a related field. Related degree, designation, or personal agriculture experience is an asset
- Valid drivers license and ability to navigate rural areas
- Willingness to travel within a 150 km radius of home base
- Physical ability to walk several kilometers in differing crop types and stages, in a variety of weather conditions
