Description

The Bethune Childcare Centre is a brand new government licensed Childcare Centre with a Before and After School Program. Bethune Childcare Centre is seeking a passionate and dependable Cook to join our team part time. The part time cook will prepare nutritious meals and snacks as outlined by the Canada's Food Guide and the menu requirements of the Saskatchewan Childcare Licensee Manual for the children in the Centre.

Responsibilities  

Prepare nutritious meals and snacks as outlined by the Canada's Food Guide and the menu requirements of the Saskatchewan Childcare Licensee Manual

Prepare food to accommodate food allergies or intolerance's, when applicable

Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and storage areas

Ensure a safe and healthy environment

Ensure all Public Health procedures are being followed


Work as part of a team  

To follow the Centre's operational policies and procedures



Qualifications  

Food Safe Certificate  

Certificate in Cooking from a recognized college is preferred but not essential

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

A criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check
