Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Assistant Bakery Team Leader onsite at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide an exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
Assist in building and leading a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency.
Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.
Assist in managing daily bakery production of breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
Provide superior leadership to bakery team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management and feedback.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
Perform all other duties as required.
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service and:
You have your high school diploma or equivalent, baking, culinary arts, or food service training are assets.
You have 1-2 years of experience in a bakery, grocery store bakery, or food service environment, Co-operative Retailing System experience is an asset.
You have experience with baking equipment, recipes, and production planning.
You have knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
