Ile-a- la Crosse is a historic Metis community located on Lac Ile-a-la Crosse in beautiful Northern Saskatchewan.  The community is accessible by highway and has a hospital, arena, curling rink, ski trails, gas stations, grocery stores, restaurant, radio station and bank.  
Teaching staff belong to the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation and enjoy the benefits of the provincial collective agreement.  The local contract provides modern subsidized housing for less than $800 per month including all utilities except internet as well as an annual Northern Allowance of $4250, moving expenses up to $2000 (prorated to length of contact).
This is an excellent place to teach for people who are interested in land-based learning, Indigenous culture or who are looking for opportunities for growth and leadership.
