Little Pine Prevention Services is seeking a caring and motivated individual to support families, youth, and community members through relationship-based prevention services.
Key Responsibilities Include:
-Building strong relationships with families and clients
-Providing weekly check-ins, counselling, advocacy, and referrals
-Planning and facilitating community programs, events, and workshops
-Conducting community outreach and needs assessments
-Working with community organizations and service providers
-Maintaining confidential records and reports
-Supporting cultural activities and community wellness initiatives
-Any other duties as assigned by the Prevention Manager
Qualifications:
-Education in Social Work, Mental Health & Addictions, Human Services, or related field preferred
- 2 years minimum experience working with families or Indigenous communities is an asset
-Strong communication and organizational skills
-Must maintain a clean and sober lifestyle
-Willing to attend cultural events and ceremonies
