Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Assistant Team Leader onsite at our Food Store location in Marcelin, Saskatchewan.

What You Will Do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide and exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
Assist in building and leading a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency, providing quality service and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Supervise and motivate team members to meet productivity and customer service goals.
Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.
Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management and feedback.
Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco, liquor, and lottery.
Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
Perform all other duties as required.
You have your high school diploma or equivalent; 2 + years experience in retail grocery operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
You have experience with inventory management, merchandising, and team supervision. You are available to work a flexible schedule; some evenings and weekends are required.
You carry a valid drivers license
