Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Clerk/Cashier at our Food Store location in Marcelin, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Lead the daily upkeep of the Wine, Spirits, and Beer (WSB) section, ensuring shelves are fully stocked, faced, and organized.
Execute price changes and set up promotional displays accurately and efficiently.
Assist with placing and managing WSB orders as assigned.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedure, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to wine, spirits, beer and tobacco.
Operate point of sale (POS) system and other electronic devices and process sales.
Position is primarily based in the WSB department, with cross-support in the Food Store as needed.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
You must be 19 years of age or older; retail liquor industry sales experience is considered an asset.
You must be willing and able to obtain Serve It Right certification.
You have the ability to fulfill physical job requirements; standing, performing regular heavy lifting, working in cooler temperatures.
You have a flexible work schedule including weekend and evening work.
