Description

Albert Park Senior Care Home Inc. is seeking a qualified and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) to provide personal care and support to residents in a long-term care setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
        Provide assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
        Assist residents with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
        Monitor and report changes in residents physical and emotional condition to nursing staff
        Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
        Support residents with toileting and incontinence care
        Assist with transfers using proper lifting techniques and equipment
        Follow care plans and infection control procedures
        Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
        Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Skills and Requirements:
        Strong interpersonal and communication skills
        Ability to work in a team environment
        Compassionate, patient, and reliable
        Physically able to perform caregiving duties
        Knowledge of health and safety standards in a care home setting

Preference will be given to Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents and Open Work Permit holders.
