Description

Due to an upcoming retirement, the Board of Education of Christ the Teacher Roman Catholic School Division #212 invites applications for the position of Director of Education commencing August 1, 2026.

Christ the Teacher Catholic School Division is located on Treaty 4 Territory and the homeland of the Mtis. Christ the Teacher Catholic Schools is a dynamic and growing school division currently serving 1950 students in nine schools. The division administers two schools in Melville, one school in Theodore, and six schools in Yorkton. The divisions ability to offer high quality, Catholic faith-based education is strengthened through ongoing partnerships with its local parishes and support from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Regina and the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Saskatoon.

The Director, as Chief Executive Officer of the school division, must be a witness to the Catholic faith, possessing a wide range of skills necessary to be an exceptional servant leader in Catholic education. The successful candidate will be an experienced educational leader who guides and supports the Boards governance responsibilities while supporting continuous learning across the division. Key areas of responsibility include faith leadership, educational leadership, fiscal responsibility, personnel management, strategic planning and reporting, communications and community relations, and student welfare.

Applicants must be eligible for membership in the Saskatchewan League of Educational Administrators, Directors, and Superintendents (LEADS), as well as meet qualifications for the position pursuant to the Saskatchewan Education Act, 1995.
