Typically, these skills are gained through a two-year diploma in a relevant field of study, like Business, or a defined equivalency, and 1  2 years of experience in driver examination and/or driver instruction and customer service.

This role also requires possession of a valid Class 5 drivers licence, a satisfactory driving record, and five years of Class 5 driving experience with at least two years of post-Graduated Drivers Licensing (GDL) program driving experience.
