Pay Grade: As per SAHO/CUPE Agreement No of Positions: 2 positions

Status: Relief  no guaranteed hours Qualifications: Grade 12

Availability Required: Must be available approx. 50% of full time

Description: Responsible to the Administrator and working directly with Recreation Staff, the Recreation Worker:
- Delivers, monitors, and records in resident/client records on recreational activities, events, and programs
- Facilitates activities; encourages and assists with resident interaction
- Encourages/assists with meal and hydration
- Assist with resident/client mobility programs
- Contacts and involves family members and community group in activities and events
- Cooperates with other departments and follows therapy guidelines, established standards, regulations and facility policies.

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP
Closing Date for Applications: March 19, 2026

FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES:
Varying shift lengths. May be required to work days and evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.


First preference shall be given to Employees within the facility/agency where the relief is required.
