Job Description: Under the Direction of the Manager and as part of the interdisciplinary Community Outreach and Support Team (COAST) within Adult Outreach, the Assessor Coordinator- Degree- Senior provides a complex range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case coordinator services to a community mental health and addictions population. The incumbent provides program consultation and coordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, supervision, preceptors students in formal clinical practicum, and provides professional public education regarding mental health and addiction issues and resources. The incumbent acts as a resource for other professionals for mental health and addictions in the community.
Experience
- Minimum two (2) years experience in community mental health and addictions services.
- Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience is an asset
Education
- Bachelors degree in a health or social science related field.
Licenses
- Registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body.
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's license.

Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in various mental health disorders and stability interventions.
- Knowledge in best practices in addictions and harm reduction strategies.
- Above average clinical assessment, case planning, consultation & supervision skills.
