Description

The Town of Nipawin is seeking a full-time (12 Month Trial), Bylaw Enforcement and Animal Control Assistant will report directly to the Bylaw Enforcement and Emergency Measures Officer.  

The Assistant is responsible for manual labour duties following bylaw infractions and enforcement orders.  The Assistant will be jointly responsible for providing animal control services, including but not limited to capture, trapping, and transportation of animals to the pound facilities.

-Valid First Aid and CPR
-Knowledge of power tools and gas-powered equipment, maintenance an asset.
-Knowledge of municipal Bylaw enforcement, policing and/or emergency response an asset.
-Must have a current Class 5 Driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
-Police Record Check with vulnerable sector screening prior to commencement of employment.
