NIS Contractors is looking for motivated and dependable Labourers to join our water and sewer crews. This is a hands-on role supporting the installation and repair of underground infrastructure. If youre ready to work hard, learn new skills, and be part of a strong team, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
    Assist with installing water mains, sanitary sewer, and storm systems
    Support pipe layers and equipment operators on site
    Load/unload materials and tools
    Perform trench work, including shoveling, grading, and compaction
    Help with pipe alignment, bedding, and backfilling
    Maintain a clean and safe work site
    Follow all safety procedures, including trench and confined space safety
    Spot equipment and assist with safe excavation around utilities

Qualifications:
    Previous construction or labour experience is an asset (but not required)
    Willingness to learn and take direction
    Strong work ethic and reliability  show up ready to work
    Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, digging, standing for long periods)
    Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
    Team player with a safety-first attitude

Assets:
    Experience in water & sewer or civil construction
    Valid drivers license
    Safety certifications (First Aid, WHMIS, Confined Space, etc.)
