Description

Reporting to the Planning Coordinator, the Info on the Go Team Members act as goodwill ambassadors and are considered the welcome wagon of downtown by responding to residents and visitors. On a daily basis, team members will respond to inquiries regarding directions, transportation, hotels, dining, and shopping, as well as set up, activate and takedown all Summer in the Square programming and a variety of downtown events. The Info on the Go Team will also provide support to the Clean Team by helping to pick up and remove garbage downtown.

The Info on the Go Team Member position is seasonal from May 12  August 31, 2026.

In the absence of the Planning Coordinator, the Info on the Go Team Members reports to the Placemaking Coordinator and/or the Director of Downtown Vibrancy.

This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. As a result, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee protection under Canadian law
Be legally entitled to work in Canada
