Description

Ceres Industries is seeking a skilled and work-conscious individual to lead our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in our manufacturing/processing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
-Evaluate root cause of failure and replace or determine corrective actions
-Decision making
-Parts sourcing
-Provide leadership
-Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
-Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
-Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
-Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
-Work collaboratively with other trades and departments to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:
-Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent certification.
-3+ years of experience
-Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
-Proficient with tools and equipment used in mechanical repair and installation.
-Capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in physically demanding environments.
-Excellent leadership, professionalism, communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:
-Industrial or manufacturing environment.
-May require overtime, weekend work, or on-call duties.
-PPE provided and required.
