Description

Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan (PBLS) is accepting applications for a full-time fixed-term contract Tenant Support Coordinator position in Regina, Saskatchewan. The expected start date is May 1, 2026, but can be negotiated, and the end date is March 31, 2029.

PBLS is a non-profit charitable organization that improves access to justice in Saskatchewan by creating, facilitating, and promoting opportunities for lawyers to provide high-quality pro bono legal services to people of limited means. We operate 14 Free Legal Clinics across Saskatchewan and provide other free legal services to low-income Saskatchewan residents.

As the Tenant Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of a new project supporting Saskatchewan renters with their residential tenancy matters. The person who holds this position will:
-    Complete client intake, including providing information, and answering inquiries regarding the Saskatchewan legal system and making appropriate referrals within and outside the organization;  
-    Assist in the creation of legal information material regarding residential tenancy matters in Saskatchewan; and
-    Engage with communities across Saskatchewan to support tenants, promote PBLS services and build relationships with key stakeholders within the legal system.

The successful candidate will have:
-    a university degree in human justice, social work or a related human service field;
-    excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people who may be in crisis and people with varying abilities in a professional and sensitive manner;
-    a high level of comfort with computers and technology, the ability to organize, manage, and solve problems with a positive attitude,
-    project management experience including but not limited to planning, execution and monitoring of a project; and
-    the ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
