NIS Contractors Ltd. is looking for an experienced Water & Sewer Foreman to lead field crews on underground utility projects. This role is for someone who knows the work inside and out, can run a crew efficiently, and takes ownership of safety, quality, and production. ___________________
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate crews installing water mains, sanitary sewer, and storm systems
Plan daily work activities and ensure productivity targets are met
Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and grade information
Ensure all work is completed to proper grade, alignment, and quality standards
Manage equipment, materials, and manpower on site
Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety policies
Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors
Identify and resolve issues in the field to keep projects on schedule

Qualifications:
Proven experience in water & sewer or underground utility construction
Previous foreman or lead hand experience running a crew
Strong knowledge of excavation, trenching, pipe installation, and grading
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Leadership skills  able to direct crews, solve problems, and hold standards
Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
Reliable, organized, and results-driven

Assets:
Experience on municipal infrastructure projects
Valid drivers license (Class 1 or 3 is an asset)
Safety certifications (First Aid, Confined Space, Ground Disturbance, etc.)
