General Labourer  Temporary Full-Time
(Possibility of Permanent Employment)
Town of Herbert

The Town of Herbert is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual for a temporary full-time General Labourer position, with the possibility of becoming permanent. This role supports Maintenance in daily public works and municipal operations.

Key Duties:
- Maintenance of parks, recreation facilities, cemetery, streets, and other Town properties
- Assist with water plant operations under direction of the Water Plant Operator
- Operation of hand tools, small equipment, and machinery

Qualifications:
Physically able to perform labour-intensive outdoor work
Experience with mowers, and power tools an asset
Basic mechanical skills and understanding of water/sewer systems preferred
Ability to follow direction and work well with the public and coworkers

Working Conditions:
Indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions
Heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and use of equipment required
