Description

A temporary Library Clerk 1 is required for the Moose Jaw Public Library, 40 hours biweekly.  This position could involve shift work, including evenings, Saturdays and Sundays on a call-in basis, expected to end at the end of December 2026

DUTIES INCLUDE: This position involves a complete range of paging duties, including customer service, shelving library materials and maintaining a neat and orderly library environment. Duties involve physical requirements such as frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting bins.

QUALIFICATIONS:    Grade 12; strong keyboarding skills; comfortable working in a Windows environment; good clerical skills; good oral and written communications skills; ability to work cooperatively with other staff; ability to meet the public with friendliness, courtesy and tact; previous library experience an asset.

SALARY RANGE:$16.95-$18.13 per hour(2026 rates).
