Job Description: Reporting to the Manager, Mental Health Program Nursing Unit Coordinator operates as part of an integrated multidisciplinary care team to provide specialized mental health and addictions clinical expertise and leadership. Key duties performed by this position includes mental health and addictions clinical supervision, and the implementation of integrated practices and care processes between adult medical services, mental health, and addictions.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience
- Experience in mental health & addictions is an asset
- 1-3 yrs nursing exp. in in-patient/community mental health, home care, and/or ER
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing (BScPN)
Other Education and Training
- Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
Competencies
- Basic - Computer skills
- Basic - Change management skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge and practical application of the Mental Health Services Act
- Knowledge of current trends/issues/best practice strategies
Other Information
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
