Job Description:
In accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the SHA and Mental Health and Addictions services, the incumbent is accountable for provision of direct clinical mental health and addiction services to children, youth, adults and their families. These services will include individual, group and family counseling, case management, and public education/consultation. The incumbent shall function within the practice principles of the Mental Health and Addictions Services program management model and is accountable for clinical leadership in the Child and Youth services area. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience:
- Minimum five years of experience in the area of mental health/addiction services
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Ability to distinguish normal and abnormal emotional behavioral functioning.
- Knowledge of protocols and Legislation that related addictions and mental health
- Knowledge of community resources
- Knowledge in clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment
