Description

We are currently looking for casual childcare workers to work at Haven Kids' House (formerly Crisis Nursery). Hours could include both day and night shifts. Must be able to work short notice shifts and night shifts, up to 12 hours. We are looking for casuals with lots of availability, especially into the summer months.

Job duties include childcare for children newborn to age 12, documentation and charting, housework (cooking, cleaning), and other various jobs.

Former childcare experience is necessary.  Position also requires applicant to be child focused and self-motivated to play and interact with the children.

Through our programs, we are committed to supporting families to stay together and ensuring that families are successful.

Preference given to graduates of youth care or childcare certificate or diploma.

Full-time childcare 1 positions may be available at a higher wage rate and higher level training only for selected childcare 2 staff.
