Description

CMerak is a Canadian innovator in plantbased ingredients, specializing in highquality faba bean and pulsederived proteins, flours, and fibres. We are growing our team in Tisdale, Saskatchewan and looking for a skilled and safetydriven maintenance technician to join our drymilling ingredient production facility. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Install, assemble, and maintain complex machinery and mechanical systems
- Perform advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and repair equipment
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
- Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, vibration, or performance issues
- Repair or replace defective parts and components efficiently
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints and equipment manuals
- Perform basic machining, welding, electric and fabrication tasks
- Assist with equipment modifications and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders
- Adhere strictly to company policies including Health & Safety, GMP, and Food Safety standards

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 2+ years experience in industrial mechanics, electrical or millwright projects
- Experience in mill operation or food production is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
