D&J FOOD PRODUCER Ltd. is looking for a Harvesting Labourer join our team. This is a full-time permanent offer. The offered hourly wage is 26.00 CAD per hour and you are expected to work 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, 5 days a week). Overtime pay will be calculated after working 8 hours each day and 40 hours each week.
Your main duties:
Assisted in planting and harvesting mung bean sprouts under supervisor direction.
Cleaned, soaked, and planted mung bean seeds following established procedures.
Performed routine watering and general maintenance tasks in the growing area.
Harvested mung bean sprouts and prepared them for washing and packaging.
Operated basic harvesting and washing equipment under supervision.
Sorted and graded harvested sprouts, removing damaged or poor-quality products.
Packed finished products for storage and shipment.
Cleaned and maintained planting and harvesting tools and equipment.
Maintained clean and organized work areas in accordance with farm safety procedures.
Assisted in general farm maintenance tasks as required by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous farm or food production experience is an asset.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable and punctual.
