Hours:Casual as scheduled

Rate of Pay: $21.06/hour



Required Skills/Training:

Minimum Grade 12 education.
Post-secondary courses in programs such as Early Childhood Development, Educational Assistant, Personal Care Aide or similar related areas and/or related experience would be considered an asset.
Training in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention would be considered an asset.
Experience with, and ability to handle, high needs children with a variety of emotional needs would be considered an asset.
Experience with, and ability to handle, the needs of elementary aged children would be considered an asset.
Based on the needs of individual students, ability to provide assistance in occupational therapy, physical therapy, dressing, eating, toileting, and transferring could be required with support/training provided as necessary.
First Aid/CPR would be considered an asset.
Possess a current and valid drivers license.


Requirements:

Familiarity and understanding of the practices of the Roman Catholic Faith would be considered an asset
Recent (within 6 months) Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check upon employment
