POSITION: Systems Navigator

The Systems Navigator, reporting to the Administration Manager, will support vulnerable community members in accessing programs and services, while also assisting the OLFS Agency with government grant research and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with data entry and maintenance of client files
Support community members in accessing programs (Jordans Principle, Social Development, etc.)
Help clients complete applications (Housing, Membership, etc.)
Maintain an updated inventory of community support services
Build trusting relationships through regular contact
Conduct client goalsetting and advocacy
Provide wellnessfocused support and referrals
Collaborate with community programs
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Human Services certificate/degree (or related education)
Experience with electronic records systems
Valid Class 5 drivers license and acceptable abstract
Clear criminal record with vulnerable sector check
Strong written communication skills
Knowledge of proposal and grant writing
Cree language ability is an asset

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
