Job Description:
-Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations)
-Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
-Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
-Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
-Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment

Specific Skills & Experience:
-Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Agriculture or Automotive Certification
-Valid class 5 drivers license with a successful driver's abstract
-Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
-Engine and/or component rebuilding experience
-Transmission or Hydraulic testing knowledge
-Previous gas engine and power generation experience is an asset
-Previous customer experience would be considered an asset

Important Details:
-This is a Monday to Friday position based out of our Swift Current branch but will require travel
-3rd or 4th Year Apprentices will be considered
-A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable
