The Role:
Humboldt Electric is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Electrician to join our dynamic field team and support critical water infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution systems.

In this Role, you will:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in water treatment plants, pump stations, and related infrastructure.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Work with control systems, PLCs, and instrumentation related to water treatment and distribution.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues to ensure system reliability.
Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes (CEC, local regulations).
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
Perform testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems.

What you will bring:
Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred)
3+ years of experience in water infrastructure electrical work
Strong knowledge of motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and SCADA systems
Ability to work safely in confined spaces and follow site safety protocols
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Valid drivers license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
